Welcome to materials, metallurgy and manufacturing research group at Marquette University

We are hiring! We are looking for motivated graduate/undergraduate students to join our group to research the processing-structure-property relationship of additively manufactured metallic alloys both experimentally and theoretically. We are currently investigating the creep and fatigue property of AM alloys, and understanding their deformation and failure mechanisms. We have one open position for a PHD student with full research assistantship starting Spring, 2024 or Fall, 2024. Teaching assistantship is also available in our department. Notice that TOEFL (or IELTS) and GRE scores are required to apply the graduate program. We welcome students with backgrounds in but not limited to materials science, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry.
